Job summary

Shifts run 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.–12:00 midnight, or 12:00 midnight–8:00 a.m.; some weekends/holidays may be required. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1 year of safety or law enforcement experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in law enforcement or campus safety.
• CPR, First Response, Mental Health First Aid, Crowd Management, OSHA and related trainings; completion within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform campus patrols and respond to emergencies across campus.
• Manage access, after-hours checks, rounds and support other departments as needed.
• Dispatch transportation services and operate security/scheduling platforms.
• Utilize campus security systems and radio communications to coordinate responses.
