Responsibilities

• Prepare duty rosters based on safety and security patrols.
• Ensure maximum coverage of occupied buildings when campus facilities are open or during events.
• Schedule days off, holidays and vacations for staff according to workload.
• Review performance and identify training needs for Campus Service Officers.
• Advise on unusual conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain routine logs and records and render assistance to the public.
• Enforce university rules and regulations and protect property when needed.
• May appear in court as a witness in criminal cases or student conduct hearings.
