Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum education.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of campus safety, law enforcement, or similar experience.
• CPR and First Response, Mental Health First Aid, Crowd Management and OSHA training required or completed within 3 months of hire.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and endure standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; familiarity with campus security systems and radio protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform campus patrols to maintain a safe, secure environment.
• Respond to emergencies and crisis incidents on assigned shifts.
• Manage access, after-hours checks, and routine rounds.
• Dispatch communications and transportation services as needed.
• Assist in producing campus ID cards and support other departments.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
