Job summary

ASU Preparatory Academy is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety of students, staff and visitors on campus. You will patrol grounds, monitor access, respond to incidents, and enforce school rules while supporting a safe learning environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year security experience, an active Arizona DPS IVP Clearance Card, and English literacy; Spanish is a plus. This on-site role offers hourly pay and opportunities to contribute to campus safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of security experience.
• Active Arizona DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Ability to read and write English for job functions.
• Spanish language ability considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of students, staff and visitors on campus.
• Patrol campus, monitor behavior, secure buildings and property, and enforce regulations.
• Assist in supervision of student activities before and after school.
• Support emergency procedures and conduct crossings-guard duties as assigned.
• Communicate with staff and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
