Job summary

Saint Anselm College, a private liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking multiple part-time, per diem Safety and Security Officers to cover special events at the College. Work assignments will be as needed.

Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the college community by providing emergency services, campus patrol, securing buildings, facilitating traffic flow and enforcing parking regulations.

Qualifications

• High school education required; 2–3 years of relevant experience; security or law enforcement training is a plus.
• Associates degree is preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency services to the campus community.
• Patrol campus to deter and respond to incidents.
• Secure buildings and control access as needed.
• Facilitate traffic flow and enforce parking regulations.
• Be available to work nights, weekends, holidays and alternate shifts; weekends may be required.
