Responsibilities

• Engages in community policing and problem-oriented policing programs to improve campus safety culture.
• Monitors University grounds and facilities via patrol, responds to emergencies and dispatches, and may detain offenders until arrival of law enforcement.
• Controls vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure smooth flow and issue citations for parking violations.
• Communicates with the public and employees during patrols, assists with disabled vehicles, checks building security, and observes behavior on University property.
