Job summary

West Georgia Technical College seeks a Campus Police Officer to provide sworn law enforcement services, patrol campus environments, respond to emergencies, and enforce laws and college policies. The position requires a High School diploma or GED, valid POST certification in Georgia, and at least two years of patrol experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and valid Georgia POST certification.
• Two years of active law enforcement patrol experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings, parking lots, and surrounding property.
• Respond to calls for service and emergencies; assist and coordinate with responders.
• Investigate incidents; prepare reports using CAD/RMS systems.
• Enforce federal, state, and local laws and campus policies; enforce parking and traffic regulations.
