Cleveland State University is seekingPart-time Campus Safety Ambassadors within the CSU Police Department. This role provides vehicle safety escorts seven days a week to campus locations and student housing, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
The position requires walking rounds, flexibility for emergencies, and strong customer service skills. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to interact well with diverse campus

Campus Safety Ambassadors are staff members in the CSU Police Department that provide vehicle Viking Safety Escorts by vehicle on CSU’s campus. Viking Safety Escorts are provided seven (7) days a week for on-campus and nearby off-campus student housing locations only. Part-time Campus Safety Ambassadors must have the ability to work a consistent schedule that includes hours between 4:00pm and 11:00pm Monday through Friday and between 7:00am and 11:00pm Saturday and Sunday.

Provides safety escort services to and from campus locations and participates in campus events. Maintains vigilance of escalating issues and contacts Cleveland State University ( CSU ) Dispatch. Provides visible non-enforcement safety presence and excellent customer services to the campus community. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
