Job summary

The Bureau of Indian Education is seeking a College Resident Assistant (GS-0303-5) to support residential students on campus. You will participate in promoting student involvement, assist in planning education and recreation programs, and provide guidance on college rules and procedures.

The role requires rotating shifts to cover a 24-hour period, seven days a week, including holidays. Qualifications include at least 1 year of specialized experience at GS-04 level or four years of education

Qualifications

• Specialized experience required to perform duties at GS-05 level.
• Merit Promotion candidates must have one year service at next lower grade.
• Education must be from an accredited or pre-accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Promote student involvement opportunities in campus organizations.
• Assist in planning and implementing education and recreation programs for residential students.
• Provide guidance regarding college rules, policies and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain administrative documents.
• Monitor student activities to identify problems or potential problems.
