Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer focused on campus reliability to design guardrails across compute, network, storage, power and cooling, and to lead calm incident response across the Memphis/Southaven data center campus.

You will own monitoring architecture, run blameless postmortems, define error budgets, and coordinate with NOC and facilities teams to shrink incident impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, CS, EE, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in site reliability, systems engineering, or large-scale ops, preferably HPC/data centers.
  • Proven large-scale incident command experience and calm leadership.
  • Monitoring and observability design at fleet or campus scale.
  • Experience across at least two of compute, network, storage, power, and cooling.
  • Experience writing and operating playbooks with 24/7 ops or NOC.
  • Scripting in Python or Bash; knowledge of at least one systems language.

Responsibilities

  • Own monitoring architecture and signal quality; drive suppression and redesign.
  • Provide SEV command support and bridge coordination with the NOC.
  • Run blameless postmortems and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Lead cross-functional reliability projects across compute, network, storage, and facilities.
  • Build and maintain runbooks, run game days, and update cross-discipline maps.
  • Define error budgets and availability objectives at campus/service boundaries.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for SEV-class events in Memphis/Southaven data center.
