Job summary

McKinsey & Company in New Jersey is seeking a recruiter to lead strategy and execution for the New Jersey office and campus sources. You will attract, assess, cultivate, and onboard distinctive talent, partnering with Partners, Professional Development, consultants, and the North America recruiting team to drive comprehensive hiring programs.

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience, with a preference for professional services and/or technical roles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; growth mindset and leadership.
• Strong strategic thinker with ability to manage the big picture and drive initiatives.
• Strong analytical ability, comfortable with Excel & PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates, consultants, and recruiting colleagues.
• Proactive problem solver who improves recruiting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting strategy and execution for New Jersey office and campus sources.
• Collaborate with Partners, Professional Development, consultants, and North America recruiting team to develop strategies across attraction, assessment, cultivation, interview scheduling, offers, onboarding and internship programs.
• Manage candidate relationships end-to-end and plan events (office presentations, interview days, dinners, campus visits, workshops).
• Use recruiting data and year-end analysis to identify opportunities to improve results.
• Contribute to recruiting practices and reforms within McKinsey & Company.
