McKinsey & Company is seeking a recruiter to drive end-to-end management of full-time and summer roles in the Bay Area. You will attract distinctive talent, schedule interviews, draft offers, and design tailored cultivation strategies, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
You will manage high-volume applications, coordinate campus events, and monitor candidate data across systems. The role combines strategic recruiting with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

You will primarily be responsible for driving and managing all aspects of recruiting for full-time and summer roles, with a focus on sources to attract distinctive talent to McKinsey & Company.
Examples of responsibilities and essential functions are: you will provide end-to-end management of the candidate through their progression in the recruiting process, including interview scheduling, responding to general questions, generating offer letters, planning, designing and executing tailored cultivation and onboarding strategies. You will build strong relationships with candidates to understand decision making criteria and provide counsel.
You will manage a high volume of online applications; process and track applications; monitor candidate assessment results and update candidate management database.
You will manage final-round interview days, including planning interview day schedule, working with Partners, APs, and EAs to manage participation efforts, facilitate/lead decision meetings. You will lead ongoing management of candidate pipeline and data, using tools and systems while keeping key stakeholders informed.
You will plan and execute campus events (e.g., large presentations, small group events, interview workshops, office visits) while managing the overall source and office recruiting budget, staffing consultants and attending events.
You will conduct year-end analysis on recruiting results and develop recommendations for improvements; ensure accurate and timely candidate data updates within appropriate recruiting tools.
You will provide input into the semi-annual review process for consultants who have contributed to the source recruiting strategy and execution.
You will work with the North America recruiting team to continue to innovate our recruiting practices, taking on additional responsibilities and special projects throughout the year and/or as they arise.
You will be based in the Bay Area as part of our Bay Area Office Campus Team (San Francisco or Silicon Valley office). This team collaborates with partners and consultants to help develop and drive recruiting strategies for the location and its sources; build and maintain peer-based relationships with leaders; partner with consultants, source and office recruiters, and other members of the recruiting community to plan and execute all aspects of our core recruiting efforts, including attraction, assessment, cultivation and onboarding.

To help you understand what you can expect, the salary range for new joiners in this role in United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $98,200 - $122,800 USD gross per year. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest [salary/hourly wages] for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
