The Student Manager is responsible to provide and overseeoperations for respective programs, events and/or facilities duringset work hours. The Manager will provide direction to studentworkers by supervising tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuringadherence to policies and procedures. They are responsible toprovide training and equip staff daily to perform required duties.The Student Manager is responsible for maintaining safety, reducingrisk and providing excellent customer service to all patrons.

The working environment in which one will typically perform theessential functions of this position is split between twoclimate-controlled office settings. Both areas are well lit and thenoise level is moderate.
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties andresponsibilities of the position, the use of one’s personal vehicle(or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a validdriver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval,and liability insurance is required when driving in the performanceof the employee’s position.
