Job summary

Dow Inc. is offering internship opportunities in Research and Development for undergraduates and masters students. Interns will support one or two projects in R&D, partnering with research scientists to advance projects from concept to completion.

You will join collaborative project teams tackling chemical and materials problems across product research, process research, and application development, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available for this position.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: GPA of 3.000 on a 4.000 scale.

Responsibilities

• Support one or two R&D projects and collaborate with research scientists to drive projects to completion.
• Work with cross-functional project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through both fundamental and applied research.
