Job summary

Dow Inc. offers internship opportunities for undergraduate and masters students in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and related disciplines. Interns will support projects in R&D, collaborating with research scientists to drive them to completion across product, process and application development.

A strong safety mindset and ability to work in the United States are required. Preferred candidates will have a GPA of 3.000 or higher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science or related discipline.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred GPA 3.000 (on a 4.000 scale).

Responsibilities

• Support one or two projects in R&D and partner with research scientists to drive projects to completion.
• Work with collaborative project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through fundamental and applied research.
• Contribute to product research, process research and application development.
