Job summary

The Quick Service Team Leader at University of Nebraska–Lincoln will supervise Abel Dining’s mobile quick service concepts, ensuring orders are accurate and served to high standards. You will guide student workers, assign daily tasks, and oversee kitchen, dish, and dining areas.

This essential role may include weekend/evening shifts; experience training staff and strong communication are required. Lincoln, Nebraska location, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of food preparation experience.
• Ability to read, write, weigh and measure.
• Must be able to train and lead others.
• Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality meets standards
• Assign daily tasks to student workers and staff
• Oversee work in kitchen, dish room, and dining area
• Train student workers and staff on recipes and standards
• Perform tasks across all stations (setup, prep, cashiering, inventory)
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns as they arise
