Creighton University in Omaha seeks Public Safety Officers to protect life and property, respond to calls, enforce parking, provide first aid, and engage with students, staff and visitors on campus.

Armed Officers must maintain firearms competencies and follow SOPs; all officers undergo pre-employment screening, including background checks, motor vehicle reports, drug screens, medical exams, and psychological testing. The department supports campus safety and emergency management.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of work-related experience preferred; campus security experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring interpersonal, human relations, or customer service skills and high public interaction.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol campus areas by vehicle, bike, or on foot.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Enforce parking regulations and assist motorists.
• Provide first aid and initial situational assessment until responders arrive.
• Engage with students, faculty and staff to foster positive relationships.
