  • Respond to calls for service, render first aid when needed, and assist other responders.
  • Prepare concise incident reports documenting events and actions.

Provide security for Bellevue Medical Center ER Department.

Duties include, but are not limited to, patrolling on foot (insideand/or outside) to prevent the commission of crimes and maintainorder; enforce State and local laws; provide traffic direction;provide security for the ER Department, equipment, and/or citizens to insure a safe environment for all.

Additional Duties

Effectively communicates with people to include conflictresolution, information gathering, and public relations. Respondsto calls of assistance from the community, staff, and visitors.Provide assistance to other officers and necessary support to otheremergency responders. Responds to calls for medical assistance,renders first aid, or arranges for emergency medicaltreatment. Responds to and investigates any call for service, belated or inprogress associated with the event assigned. Recognizes safetyconsiderations for responding officers and the public.Prepares complete and concise documentation of incidents asneeded.

Required Qualifications
  • Police officer (any rank), having local jurisdiction of Omaha /Douglas County / Bellevue / Sarpy County.
