Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of experience in federal, state, or local law enforcement.
• Possess or be eligible for New York State Armed Guard License.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication and ability to respond to emergencies calmly.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and monitor patrol personnel to ensure high service quality.
• Direct patrols, access control, and asset activity to mitigate risk.
• Respond to calls for service and provide immediate medical attention as needed.
• Prepare detailed written reports and coordinate with the Campus Director.
• Investigate duty derelictions and direct traffic/crowd control at events.
• Operate university vehicles in compliance with laws and policies.
