Responsibilities

• Receives and transmits radio communications for Police, Fire, and university departments; operates telecommunication equipment.
• Records and logs dispatching operations and maintains logs.
• Answers telephone calls and documents incidents; assists the public and campus community.
• Operates telecommunications computer terminal; monitors alarms and maintains center security.
• Inspects equipment and reports malfunctions; prepares reports as required.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
