Job summary

University at Buffalo seeks a Property Operations Coordinator to oversee a portfolio of downtown and off-campus properties, coordinating operations, maintenance, and tenant relations. The role requires travel between campuses and the use of vendor services to ensure safe, well-maintained facilities.

The position reports to the Assistant Director of Real Estate & Property Management and supports capital projects, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination across campus units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or combination of education and experience as listed in the minimum qualifications.
• Experience in property management, facilities operations, or real estate activities.
• Knowledge of space planning, occupancy utilization, and regulatory requirements affecting facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational, maintenance, and administrative aspects of assigned properties.
• Serve as liaison for tenants, campus partners, and external stakeholders.
• Travel regularly to properties to meet with tenants and vendors and oversee activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and coordinate corrective actions to maintain safety and standards.
• Oversee budgets, scope of work, and vendor contracts for projects.
