The role of the Campus Production Technician is to oversee all aspects of technically producing worship services and other campus events. He/she is directly responsible for recruiting, training, & maintaining Production Team volunteers, as well as ensuring the function and maintenance of all production equipment in a timely manner in collaboration with the rest of the Worship Department. This person will need a good balance of technical knowledge/ability and strong people skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be an independent problem solver, and be eager to learn.

• Responsibly use the resources at your disposal to foster the mission and vision of Abundant Life (1 Peter 5:1-4).
• Participate in an Abundant Life group (Acts 2:41-42) as well as the discipleship ministry (Matthew 28:18-20).
• Live in a way that glorifies God and aligns with the staff core values (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensure Sunday worship services at assigned campuses run smoothly each week, troubleshooting any issues that come up on the day of the service.
• Oversee production for mid-week ministry services and events.
• Enlist, train, and develop leaders for the Production Team at Abundant Life.
• Ensure all campus production equipment is maintained and repaired when needed.
• Install production equipment at campuses.
• Work with ministry leaders and TD to meet ministry production needs.
• Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies within the industry.
• Attend weekly meetings as assigned.
• Work schedule is generally Sunday-Thursday, with occasional Friday/Saturday events. There will be a required schedule of 1-2 evenings per week with adjusted start times to compensate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in live events/production environments or similar.
• Has a strong knowledge of AVL systems and experience in live production (camera operation, switching, lighting, and audio).
• Programming and execution experience with large format digital audio console environments.
• Proficient computer skills in Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of lighting design and Vista.
• Dante certification is a plus.
• Audio/visual install experience is a plus.
• Has strong organizational and problem-solving skills; is self-motivated and a critical thinker.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills in both verbal and written communications.
