Chartwells Higher Ed at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL is hiring for full-time and part-time Prep Cook positions. Prior culinary experience is required. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, with full-time benefits, medical, dental, vision, a 401K, and free parking.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. You will prepare food according to production sheets, follow recipes and HACCP guidelines, and serve customers efficiently at multiple stations.

Qualifications

• Prior culinary experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation and reports as required.
• Respects health, safety and sanitation regulations.
