Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed at IUPUI in Indianapolis is seeking a full-time Childcare Prep Cook. The role involves preparing food to HACCP standards, following production sheets, serving customers across stations, and ensuring quality and safety from morning through early afternoon.

Ideal applicants will have prior cooking and dietary experience and be able to work 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Perks include development opportunities, free parking, and free meals.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience preferred.
• Dietary experience preferred.
• Willingness to work early morning hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Tastes completed meals to ensure quality and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Resolves customer concerns and assists with meal service as needed.
