Qualifications

• Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States by date of appointment.
• High School diploma or GED certification prior to admission to the Connecticut Police Training Academy.
• During training, completion and graduation from the Connecticut Police Training Academy program or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
• Preferred EMR certification and service in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Responsibilities

• Provide crowd control at CCSU events and activities.
• Monitor designated areas to ensure security and authorized access.
• Direct traffic and enforce motor vehicle and parking regulations.
• Participate in evacuations and provide emergency response as needed.
• Conduct cruiser or foot patrols and assist in investigations as required.
