Qualifications

• Two or more years of law enforcement experience.
• High school diploma or GED; A.A. desirable.
• Defensive tactics, firearms, and investigations training certifications.
• Knowledge of citizens rights and applicable laws.
• Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally; operate emergency vehicles; and work under varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspects police officers and security guards.
• Performs supervisory duties: assigns patrol responsibilities, sets priorities, evaluates performance.
• Conducts investigations and prepares detailed reports on incidents.
• Monitors subordinates to ensure prompt, safe, and lawful performance; reports misconduct.
• Conducts daily roll calls and shifts inspections; ensures accurate reporting and program training.
