Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and P.O.S.T. academy completion.
• Three or more years of active law enforcement experience.
• Completion of a P.O.S.T. Supervisory Program desirable or within one year.
• Experience supervising staff or providing lead direction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, coordinate and supervise staff on a shift or unit.
• Develop and enforce department policies and procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training and evaluation to staff.
• May assume command in absence of a superior officer.
