• A minimum of 96 quarter hours of college credits or 2 years of continuous law enforcement experience.
• Must pass psychological examination.
• Must pass written and oral testing and interview.
• Must agree to a thorough background examination.
• Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable under university policies.
• Desired characteristics include professionalism, proactive work ethic, and positive attitude.
• All officers start at entry level and are on probation for one year.
