Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College is hiring a Campus Police Officer to provide public safety, law enforcement and security across campus. The role requires CLEET certification, a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, and completion of annual CSA training and NIMS courses.

The officer will patrol by foot, car, bike, and CCTV, respond to incidents, enforce policies, and maintain calm under pressure in a safety-sensitive environment. OCCC operates 24/7; shifts may vary.

Qualifications

• Requires H.S. Diploma / GED.
• Current CLEET Peace Officer Certification or valid reciprocity.
• Holds and maintains a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
• Completes NIMS training IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800 within established timeline.
• Completes OCCC Campus Police Field Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide public safety, law enforcement, and security services on campus.
• Patrol campus by foot, vehicle, bicycle, and CCTV surveillance.
• Respond to safety and security incidents and emergencies.
• Enforce laws and college policies with professional conduct.
