Wilkes Community College is seeking a part-time Campus Police Officer to patrol and secure campus grounds, enforce laws, and respond to emergencies.

The role includes traffic control, investigations of misdemeanors, evidence handling, court testimony, and collaboration with college administration.

Applicants must meet NC requirements, pass background and drug screening, and hold eligibility for certification; prior campus law enforcement experience is preferred.

Formación

• U.S. Citizen.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Possess a valid NC Driver license.
• Current certification as a law enforcement officer under NC CJETSD or eligible for certification.

Responsabilidades

• Operate police vehicles and conduct patrols on campus.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment; report damages.
• Utilize CAD, RMS, CJLEADS, and DCI as needed; secure evidence.
