Job summary

Qualifications

• Current permanent Peace Officer License from TCOLE.
• Successful completion of field training program.
• Certifications/Training requirements (upon hire or within designated timeframe)

Responsibilities

• Community policing and engagement with students, staff and visitors.
• Patrol the campus and address safety concerns and violations.
• Investigate crimes, accidents, and incidents; secure scenes and prepare reports.
• Respond to emergencies and provide medical aid and safety support as needed.
• Document actions and incidents; maintain regulatory compliance and proper chain of command.
• Maintain police vehicle and equipment; stay current with required certifications.
