Marian University of Indiana is seeking a full-time Campus Police Officer to uphold the University's Catholic mission by ensuring safety and enforcing laws. The role requires a commitment to community service, exemplary law enforcement practices, and maintaining a peaceful campus atmosphere. Candidates must possess a high school diploma and complete requisite law enforcement training.
As a part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University seeks a full-time Campus Police Officer to promote Marian University's Catholic mission and identity by guarding the peace, tranquility, and serenity of the University while attempting to ensure justice and maintain the dignity of the individuals. The Campus Police Officer is part of the Campus Police Department pursuant to Indiana Code, Title 21, Article 39, Chapter 4.0 to 4.7. The Campus Police Officer has general police powers, and has the same common law and statutory powers, privileges and immunities as sheriffs and constables.
