Job summary

The University of La Verne seeks a seasoned Plumbing/Facilities Specialist to manage all campus plumbing and gas line projects. You will write scope of work for bids on large projects, oversee contractors, and sign off on payments and completion documents.

Develop long-term maintenance plans and provide reports to leadership. This onsite role requires extensive experience, strong knowledge of codes, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at a leading private university in

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of experience in plumbing repair or construction.
• Knowledge and ability to operate a gas fume sniffer.
• Basic plumbing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all campus plumbing and gas line projects, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Write SOW details for bids on larger projects.
• Oversee contractors and approve payments and completion documents.
• Develop long-term plumbing maintenance plans and provide reports to supervisor and Director.
