The role requires advanced technical expertise to install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems in accordance with national and state codes, while delivering responsive and customer-focused service.

The anticipated salary range is $26.83 - $35.89 per hour, with a valid Florida plumbing

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida plumber with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Valid Class E driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and work with campus facilities teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive (PM) and predictive (PDM) maintenance to identify and prevent system failures.
• Install, maintain, test, and calibrate plumbing systems supporting water, gas, air, and sewer operations in campus facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, faucets, traps, pipes, water heaters, and related components.
• Diagnose and resolve sewage system issues using camera inspection equipment.
• Complete work orders accurately with labor and material documentation; report issues to supervisor.
• Coordinate with central shops, contractors, and departments for routine and project work.
• Support capital improvement projects and participate in system upgrades; assist with area shutdowns.
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned.
