Job summary

This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage. The Parking Call Team Member provides professional, responsive assistance to the University Community through Calls for Service and Parking Enforcement, promoting safety and compliance with parking rules.

The role requires substantial walking outdoors in all weather and the ability to handle confidential information with professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Reasoning skills, ability to work outside in all types of weather, self motivated, ability to maintain confidentiality, display professional demeanor, and make consistent decisions.
• Knowledge of UAA campus, building names, and parking lot locations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the University Community via Calls for Service and Parking Enforcement.
• Perform jumpstarts and unlocks, walking safety escorts, and locating.
• Be visible to the community and provide accurate and helpful information.
• Assist in maintaining a safe campus and report any situations that create an unsafe environment.
• Other duties as assigned; position requires extensive walking and outdoor work.
