Job summary

Radford University is seeking a Campus Service Officer (Part-Time) to support campus safety and parking operations on the Radford City Main Campus. The role is hourly and part-time with up to 28 hours per week, reporting to the Police Department - Auxiliary.

Responsibilities include enforcing parking rules and assisting motorists, including jump-starts and unlocks, and supporting events while securing facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of all parking regulations
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and move 50lbs
• Ability to work with the public
• Walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Enforcing university parking regulations
• Providing motorist assistance such as jump-starting dead batteries and unlocking cars
• Providing parking assistance for special events and athletic activities, and securing university buildings
