University of Maryland College Park is seeking a Campus Pantry & Sustainability Coordinator to oversee the Campus Pantry and Teaching Kitchen operations. The role supports sustainability programs, including the Campus Farmers Market, and collaborates with staff to advance campus-wide sustainable initiatives.

The ideal candidate will manage student teams, handle inventory and vendor coordination, and contribute to outreach and data reporting to improve impact across the campus community.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of experience carrying out sustainability programs.
• Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Campus Pantry and Teaching Kitchen.
• Support the Sustainability Manager in running the Campus Farmers Market.
• Engage in educational outreach and expansion opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor Campus Pantry student employees.
• Coordinate with vendors for the Campus Pantry and Farmers Market and with other sustainability organizations.
• Collect, analyze, and report relevant data to internal teams and external rating organizations.
• Develop program proposals and implement new initiatives.
