Job summary

College of the Holy Cross seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver modified primary and urgent care for students, faculty, and staff. The NP will provide care with supervising providers when required and may practice independently with >3 years of experience.

The 10-month position emphasizes collaboration, protocol development, and leadership in student health services, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts NP certification and current MA license.
• BS degree and MS in Nursing required.
• MA State and federal DEA numbers.
• Two to three years of clinical experience in primary care or emergency nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Understanding and respect for Jesuit tradition and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality modified primary and urgent care to students and staff.
• Provide emergency care as indicated.
• Coordinate care under supervising provider for <3 years experience; collaborate as needed.
• NPs with >3 years may apply for independent practice.
• Maintain licensure and certifications; serve as liaison to RN staff.
• Develop and implement community education programs and student health initiatives.
• Participate in Quality Assessment/Quality Improvement and peer review processes.
