The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a Temporary Mover in Memphis, TN to move university furniture, laboratory and healthcare equipment, and supplies as requested by staff, faculty, and students. This position is not benefit eligible and involves physical labor.

Responsibilities include transporting items, operating a standard shift truck, setting up for events, assisting with site cleanups, and supporting relocation of surplus property.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months of satisfactory work performance in a moving company or related area.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Moves and transports office furniture, laboratory equipment, health care equipment and other equipment or supplies.
• Drives UT vehicles to various locations in the process of transferring or storing University property equipment, or supplies.
• Assists in the relocation of surplus property.
• Sets up, arranges, or takes down equipment for special events.
• Assists in the cleanup of construction sites.
• Removes snow, ice, and debris during inclement weather from parking garages, sidewalks, and other areas.
• Performs other duties as required.
