Job summary

Utah State University is seeking a Site Coordinator for the USU Eastern Upward Bound program, based at GRAND COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL. You will recruit students, create individualized educational plans, and provide academic advising, career guidance, and tutoring to UB participants.

The role entails collaborating with counselors and teachers, tracking progress, and supporting students toward postsecondary opportunities. Travel within Utah and occasional evening/weekend work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, counseling or related field.
• Willingness to travel.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Aid in identifying, recruiting and selecting participants.
• Develop and incorporate individualized educational plans for Upward Bound students in coordination with the director.
• Develop and administer all academic year curriculum for Junior and Senior students.
• Plan and facilitate monthly campus exposure events with attendee roster and trip agenda.
• Assist in administering individualized tutoring.
• Act as a voice for Upward Bound at target school meetings.
• Advocate for participants to target school administration.
• Develop personalized relationships with participants and parents/guardians.
• Travel within Utah may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
