Job summary

University of Pikeville seeks an entry-level Mental Health Engagement Specialist to support the THRIVE Counseling Center, promote wellness, and coordinate outreach on campus.

You will assist with events, communications, and social media, working with student schedules to promote mental health awareness across campus. The role emphasizes collaboration, listening, and professional conduct in a university setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a current UPIKE student in good standing.
• Preferred major in Social Work or strong interest in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Promote the importance of mental health awareness on campus – C, CTR, L, P, TW.
• Set up and assist with counseling center activities (e.g., Mental Health Mondays) – TW, P, C.
• Facilitate campus-wide communication via campus groups and approved THRIVE social media – C, T, CTR.
• Create, design, and hang flyers and social media content to promote events – T, C, CTR.
• Attend, participate in, and take notes at monthly student mental health committee meetings – C, P.
