Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a Trucking/Materials Transport position on the Lexington campus. You will transport materials (freight and recycling) to and from various locations, loading and unloading vehicles and handling related tasks with a focus on safety and service.

Typical hours are weekday mornings with extra hours as workload demands; CDL preferred and prior driving experience is valued. This role includes on-campus travel and manual material handling responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus two years of professional driving experience.
• CDL preferred.
• MS Windows/Office knowledge and KRONOS experience

Responsibilities

• Transport materials (freight/recycling) to and from locations, loading and unloading vehicles.
• Manually pick up and move materials (recycling, waste, surplus equipment/furniture, special events resources) from on/off campus via stairs, elevators, and dock locations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
