Job summary

Pueblo Community College is seeking a Materials Handler I to support campus operations across shipping, mail, inventory, and facilities services. The role includes handling materials safely, maintaining storage areas, and assisting with safety and daily operations across PCC locations.

The position requires minimal travel to PCC sites, a valid driver’s license, forklift certification within 90 days, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Applicants must meet Colorado residency rules.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in shipping & receiving, warehousing, mail services, inventory, materials handling, groundskeeping, or facilities support (full-time or part-time).
• Combination of related education and/or relevant experience may substitute for experience; transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving: receive, inspect, track and distribute mail, packages, freight and supplies.
• Mail Services: sort and distribute mail, operate mailing equipment and prepare shipping docs.
• Inventory & Warehouse: maintain organized storage areas and track inventory of supplies.
• Materials Handling & Safety: safely move packages and hazardous materials and follow safety protocols.
• Grounds & Campus Safety: perform groundskeeping and assist in maintaining safe campus conditions.
• Facilities & Event Support: assist with event setup/cleanup, furniture moves and minor repairs.
