Job summary

Pueblo Community College in Pueblo, Colorado, is seeking a Materials Handler I to support campus operations through shipping and receiving, mail processing, inventory management, groundskeeping, and general facilities support.

The role requires one year of related experience or an education/experience mix, a valid Colorado driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with travel between PCC locations possible.

Qualifications

• This posting requires one year of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, mail services, inventory management, materials handling, groundskeeping, or general facilities support.
• An education and experience combination may substitute for experience; transcripts must be submitted with the application.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment background check; forklift certification within 90 days is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, track, and distribute incoming mail, packages, freight, and supplies.
• Sort and distribute mail; operate mailing equipment and ensure USPS compliance.
• Maintain organized storage areas and track inventory of supplies and materials.
• Safely handle packages, freight, and hazardous materials; follow safety protocols.
• Assist with groundskeeping tasks and campus safety; support events and facilities needs.
