Job summary

Yami in Brea, CA is seeking a Marketing Intern for Community Marketing to build promotional content and lead campus and group ambassadors. You will manage weekly promotions, monthly branding activities, and social media growth across student communities.

The role focuses on on-site work, collaboration with teams, and hands-on experience in influencer marketing and UGC campaigns. Must be a current student or recent graduate with a passion for Asian flavors and lifestyle products.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or related field.
• Interest in social media/community marketing, digital content creation, and influencer marketing.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and platforms.
• Experience creating/editing short-form videos/photos through coursework or internships.
• Proficiency with content creation/editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating student ambassadors across college campuses.
• Communicating with student ambassadors, campaign updates, content guidelines, and activity tracking.
• Plan and execute on-campus events, student engagement activities, and content creation initiatives.
• Encourage ambassadors to create/share engaging social content featuring Yami's products and promotions; review content and provide feedback.
• Maintain relationships with student ambassadors and organizations (e.g., CSSA); evaluate/sponsor events to boost awareness.
