Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to join the Facilities Management team. This mid-level role focuses on general and craft maintenance of residence halls and campus buildings, equipment operation, and support for events and projects.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of related maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license. A pool operator certification is preferred and may add pay differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Three years’ experience with related maintenance systems.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.

Responsibilities

• General and craft maintenance of all campus buildings, including the residence halls.
• Care for campus grounds, including mowing, trimming, mulching, and seasonal landscaping.
• Handle snow and ice removal, by machine and by hand, to keep the campus safe in winter months.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Support special events, projects, conferences, planned utility outages, and activities sponsored by individuals/groups using the campus facilities.
