Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training adds value.
• Experience in general maintenance, construction, or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive CSU vehicles.
• Comfort with shift work including evenings or on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of campus building systems and equipment.
• Assist in routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP).
• Collaborate with trades staff, vendors, and CSU personnel to complete tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
• Operate safely and in compliance with university policies and regulatory standards.
