Job summary

Challenger School is looking for a skilled maintenance technician to join our Utah team. You will inspect facilities, perform routine maintenance, respond to urgent repair requests, and coordinate larger projects to keep our campuses safe and functional.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm with occasional overtime. You may travel within a 30-mile radius to other Utah campuses as needed. Join us to help maintain a secure, well‑kept learning environment.

Qualifications

Reliable personal vehicle and mileage reimbursement.
General knowledge/experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
Ability to pass background check.
Completion of pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Comply with OSHA standards, government licensing, safety, and operational requirements.
Maintain interior and exterior functionality and safety of the school building.
Keep school grounds clear and functional through all seasons.
Occasionally travel to other Utah campuses to assist with maintenance tasks (30-mile radius).
Work patiently with coworkers and campus staff.
