Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking a Mail Room Associate to deliver and sort mail across main campus and off-site locations. The role requires safe driving, accurate sorting, and timely delivery in a healthcare campus environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or GED), a valid NYS driver’s license, and 1–3 years in shipping, receiving, or customer service. This full-time on-site position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License or equivalent required.
• Experience in supply chain, shipping or mail handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver US mail, internal mail pouches and parcels to on/off campus locations.
• Sort correspondence and prepare items for delivery using approved routes and protocols.
• Process mail with metered machine and charge cost centers accordingly.
• Perform order fulfillment from warehouse inventory and assist with courier tasks.
• Interact professionally with a range of colleagues from executives to staff.
