Job summary

Responsibilities include installing and repairing lock systems, issuing keys, maintaining records, and following safety policies; Must have HS diploma and 2+ years of related experience; salary $18.12-$22.21/hr; non-exempt, biweekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) or more years of related work experience

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and replace all lock systems for campus buildings, apartments, equipment and property
• Cut and issue keys to faculty, staff and students
• Install cylinders in locks
• Pick lock, change settings of locks, open safes and respond to emergency locksmith needs throughout campus
• Maintain daily record of time and materials used on projects
• Maintain records to accurately reflect key losses
• Repair, rebuild and replace glass doors, door closures, floor hinges and other hardware
• Follow all safety and other risk management policies in performance of work
• Attend safety meetings
• Maintain, repair and clean tools, equipment and work areas
